The stitching reinforces stress areas around the belt slots and strap attachment points. At approximately 6 ounces, the holster provides substance without unnecessary bulk.

The defining feature is its ambidextrous capability. The thumb break strap is reversible, allowing configuration for right or left hand carry. The retention strap is fully adjustable and can be positioned either over the rear of the slide area or adjusted to secure over the hammer for cocked and locked carry on compatible platforms.
